We offer a one day tour for those wanting a small taste of the Eat Pray Love experience in Bali and a one-week holiday package including accommodation and day trips around the island for those who have time to make the most of their holiday with a full spiritual experience.

The Eat Pray Love Tour (full-day tour around Ubud)

• Visit the famous sacred Ubud Monkey Forest and stop off at the Pura Dalem – Temple of Shiva inside the forest.
• Visit to Ketut Liyer, Elizabeth Gilbert’s spirtitual teacher and traditional healer for an optional palm reading by the man himself – don’t forget to bring your copy of Eat Pray Love for him to sign!
• Stop off at Wayan’s traditional healing center for an optional treatment or lunch.
• Learn to pray like the Balinese do at one of the many temples in and around Ubud. You may even be lucky enough to view a ceremony taking place.
• Shop for silver, batik, carvings and other traditional arts of the Ubud villages.
• Visit some of the filming locations of the Eat Pray Love movie where Julia Roberts reenacted scenes from the book – great for photo opportunities!
• End the trip with a walk through a secret beauty spot and have the best view of the sunset in Ubud.

The tour is conducted by Made, your Balinese tour guide who has lived in the Ubud area his whole life and knows many of the characters mentioned in Elizabeth’s book. He will give you real insight into the Balinese people, culture and religion and offer further recommendations for places to visit and activities to try once the tour is over. This tour can be conducted in either English or French. Other languages can be arranged on request.

Prices for this amazing one day tour are as follows:

In air-conditioned car/minibus  – 650,000 IDR for up to 3 people, 75,000 for each extra person (6 maximum)

By motorbike for one person (tour guide drives bike) or for 2 people with your own motorbike -  300,000 IDR

By motorbike including bike hire – 350,000 IDR

Prices are based on pickup from the Ubud area and and an additional charge will apply for pickup from other areas of Bali – please contact for details. These prices do not include the cost of optional palm reading, lunch or temple entry (usually less than $1). You will also need to wear a sarong and sash for entrance to the temple – these can be rented at the entrance for a nominal fee or ask the guide if you wish to purchase one as a souvenir.

Please note that it is not possible to book palm readings with Ketut Liyer as they are done on a first-come-first-served basis and there may sometimes be a long wait.

The Eat Pray Love Experience (Full holiday package in Ubud Bali)

One week (7 nights) holiday package inclusive of the following:

The basic price of this amazing holiday package is 5,000,000 IDR for up to 4 people. The house has 2 bedrooms – each with one double bed, one bathroom with hot water, bathtub and a separate toilet.
